Wade is currently teaching undergraduate acting, theatre, and music classes at Ohio University. Previously, he was the choir and music teacher at Lindblom Math & Science Academy, a 7-12th grade public selective-enrollment school in Chicago’s West Englewood neighborhood. Within the exceptional fine arts department at Lindblom, Wade led 5 curricular choirs, sponsored 2 club choirs, and music directed the spring musical every year. He partnered with other fine arts institutions in Chicago such as Music of the Baroque, the Jazz Institute of Chicago, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Lakeside Singers, and Chicago A Cappella to bring exciting opportunities to the students at Lindblom.
Wade serves as a judge and clinician at show choir competitions and has completed the music adjudicator training through NFHS. He also works as a guest artist educator in school and arts programs. While at Northwestern University, when working on his Master of Music Education, Wade focused on progressive arts education with specialization in inquiry, world music, reducing bias, and contemporary commercial music (CCM) vocal techniques.
